Nipper Program Weekly Breakdown

Our first session is all about welcoming new and returning Nippers and helping everyone feel comfortable in the Mindil Beach SLSC environment. Participants will meet the Junior Activities Coordinator, Age Managers, and the other children in their age group while becoming familiar with the beach, ocean, and lake settings where activities will take place throughout the season.

This session focuses on building confidence, making new friends, and introducing families to the fun, supportive, and safe culture of surf lifesaving.

 The final week of beach activities brings the season together, with our Nippers having the opportunity to put everything they’ve learned into practice at the Northern Territory Championships. Participants will take part in and spectate a range of events, celebrating their development, teamwork, and achievements throughout the program.
