Join a Crew and Catch some Waves

 A surf boat crew is made up of four rowers and a sweep, working together to power through the surf in one of the most exciting team sports on the water. At the start signal, crews race out through the waves, around their assigned turning buoy, and back onto the beach in a test of strength, timing, teamwork, and skill. With men’s, women’s, and mixed divisions, there’s a place for everyone in the sport.

Whether you’re looking for a new challenge, a great fitness outlet, or an unbeatable team environment, new rowers are always welcome to come and give it a go. We launch from the Darwin Ski Club boat ramp for sessions at Mindil Beach, and also train out at Lake Alexander.
